Join Our Family
of Monthly Donors

We are grateful you believe in helping women+ and families in need. A monthly donation of $25 could fill a survival package with essentials for a homeless woman, $50 per month could buy diapers for a family who desperately needs them, and $100 could buy a bus pass for a woman to get to work and keep a job.

Memorial
& Tribute Gifts

When you donate to celebrate a friend or remember a loved one, you give twice. First to the person you are honouring with your gift and again to the women+ and families at the Welcome Centre Shelter. At your request, we will send a notification in recognition of your gift. Your donation amount will not be disclosed and you will receive a charitable tax receipt.

Click the Make a Tribute Donation button below and once you’ve selected your donation amount, click “Dedicate this Donation”.

Planned Giving

You can leave a lasting legacy of helping families and changing the lives of children. A gift in your will ensures those who need help in the future will not be left behind. In many cases, a charitable donation will reduce the taxes on your estate, which means there is little or no impact on what can be passed on to your loved ones.

What will be the story you leave behind when you’re gone? We’ll all leave a story. Some will be exceptional in the eyes of many; others will be quietly remarkable. Please make your story count for the women+ and families of tomorrow.

Large or small, legacy gifts ensure we will be there for those who need help in the future. Their numbers will continue to grow, and their needs will be more complex. You can help secure their future with a gift in your will.

*Ask your legal advisor about adding a simple amendment to your existing will (a codicil) to include a charitable gift.

If you worry that a charitable gift will consume the resources you may need as you age or deplete what you want to leave for your loved ones – you may be surprised. There are many ways that tax credits for charitable gifts and simple planning can allow you to do it all.

We encourage you to share your thoughts with your family and explore your options for charitable giving with a trusted legal, tax, or accounting specialist who is knowledgeable about the financial benefits of charitable giving.

We can also help. Call or email us today for confidential, pressure-free suggestions about how you can outlive yourself and reserve your spot in our history through your story of support.
