**For a streamlined intake process, we offer pre-intake assessments over the phone. Call ahead to determine your eligibility and check for available space. Please note that spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee that space will be available.

Men can access the shelter if they are part of a family unit with dependents.

Being in shelter does not guarantee you will receive a housing offer.

No, our shelter operates under a Harm Reduction philosophy. While it is not recommended to use substances on site, it does not automatically result in discharge. Instead, we prioritize open conversations about safe substance use and explore ways to support individuals during their stay.

While having identification can facilitate the intake process, it is not a requirement. We understand that lack of identification can be a barrier for many individuals, so we will proceed with the intake process regardless of whether you have identification or not.

Yes, you will be provided with a housing worker on the next business day after your intake. They will continue to support you throughout your stay, assisting you in finding housing and providing support throughout the process.

Yes, all of our units are shared spaces; this helps us accommodate more women experiencing homelessness by maximizing the available space and resources to support as many individuals as possible.

Unfortunately, we do not accommodate couples without dependent children. Our focus is on ensuring there are spaces available for women with children, as there are other services available to accommodate couples without children.

Unfortunately, we do not allow visitors in the shelter due to the confidentiality and safety of our clients. However, you can arrange to meet visitors at nearby public places such as Tim Hortons or nearby parks for your visit.

Yes, you are free to come and go as you please during the day. However, we do have a curfew in place that needs to be respected to secure your bed and space at the shelter.
