This month, Fashion Week Windsor is reviving its community initiative, Flowers for a Cause, with the Welcome Centre Shelter for Women and Families as its October beneficiary.
The fundraiser launches with a meet-and-greet on Monday, October 14, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Chapter Two Brewing Company, 2345 Edna Street, Windsor. Guests are invited to stop by, connect with the organizers, and purchase flowers while supporting women and families in the community.
From October 15 through 19, flowers will continue to be available at Chapter Two Brewing during regular business hours. Single flowers are $5, and five-flower bouquets are $20. All proceeds go directly to the Welcome Centre Shelter.
Flowers for a Cause was created by Fashion Week Windsor to highlight and support local charities throughout the year. Every other month, the team partners with a different community organization to raise funds and awareness for their work. The Welcome Centre Shelter thanks Fashion Week Windsor, Dak’s Flowers, and Chapter Two Brewing Company for making this event possible.
