We are delighted to share that the Welcome Centre Shelter for Women has been selected to receive a grant of $1,500 from the H.C. Endowment Fund, held at the WindsorEssex Community Foundation.
This funding will help support the Welcome Centre during the 2025–2026 season, ensuring we can continue offering safe, welcoming spaces for women and families in need. Grants like this play a vital role in sustaining key programs that make a real difference, including our children’s programming, which provides safe and engaging spaces for kids, and our harm reduction initiatives, which offer compassionate, non-judgmental care and resources to those navigating substance use.
We are deeply grateful to the H.C. Endowment Fund and the WindsorEssex Community Foundation for their support and commitment to our work. Every contribution helps us strengthen our programs and ensures that women and families in Windsor-Essex have the resources, care, and opportunities they need to thrive.
